For years, Argheri has designed and built the Forzo, a traditional Napoli mosaic pizza oven. We understand thermal mass, stone behaviour, and heat flow the way appliance brands never will.

When we wanted to cook Neapolitan at home, without fire management, without a backyard, we built the Ziola. Not as a consumer product. As the oven we actually wanted to use.

The oven that reads itself

Most electric pizza ovens run on fixed power cycles. They get hot, then they have no idea what's actually happening inside.

Thermotrol™ uses integrated sensors to continuously monitor real temperature at the stone and in the air, then adjusts output to keep top and base cooking in balance, at every dial setting.

The result: consistent leopard spotting, cooked-through base, melted cheese. Every time. Not most of the time.

If you want to cook true Neapolitan at 450–500°C, yes. Cordierite is brilliant for lower-temperature styles — but above 450°C it tends to over-char the base. Biscotto is porous clay specifically designed for high-heat Neapolitan cooking. It absorbs and moderates heat so the base cooks through without burning.

Yes. The stone temperature drops slightly after each cook — that's true of every pizza oven, wood-fired or electric. Ziola's large heating elements recover the stone quickly. A 2–4 minute wait is all you need. Matteo Gallo, a professional pizza caterer in Sydney, uses it exactly this way.

27 minutes to reach 500°C. One of the fastest preheat times available in any electric pizza oven.

Yes, the Ziola offers precise temperature control, from 180°C up to 500°C at 5°C increments allowing you to choose the perfect temperature for different pizza styles.

At lower temperatures turning is not required. At higher temperatures we recommend turning the pizza once during cooking for an even bake and perfect crust.

You can definitely use the Ziola 500°C Electric pizza oven outdoors however it should be kept indoors in dry conditions and never left outside.

Like every pizza oven, the stone temperature drops when cooking a pizza. The Ziola has been designed with large heating elements that ensure rapid recovery between pizzas. For perfect base everytime, we recommend a 2-4 minute wait between pizzas for the stone to rebound to temperature.

No, the Ziola is certified for use with a standard Australian 10A plug. The Ziola has a maximum wattage of 1800W.

While the Ziola is optimized for pizza and flatbreads, it can handle other high-heat recipes that fit within its cooking space. However, its low profile and specialised design make it ideal for pizza-making rather than as a multi-purpose oven.
